Danielle Dickson Makeup Artist

“The main focus was a monochromatic pink look on both models, keeping the skin soft and glowing and the lips glossy,” says Danielle Dickson Makeup Artist.

“I enhanced Mailin’s natural glow with a mix of Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint and Fenty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint. I used Huda Beauty Nude palette on the eyes and Charlotte Tilbury wands on the cheeks for contour blush and highlight, before sweeping MAC Peach Blossom lipstick on the lips.

“For Aimee, Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base and Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation evened out her skin tone and maintained her glow. Aimee has amazing natural brows, so all that was needed was a touch of Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. I changed Aimee’s lip colour a few times through the shoot as we darkened her eyes, using Charlotte Tilbury shades throughout.”

The Bride to Be

Maureen Crolla at The Bride to Be talks us through Aimee’s bridal look: “I started by applying some Color Wow Raise the Root and blow dried it through to give Aimee’s hair volume and texture. The first style was a bit of a throwback to the traditional French roll with a sophisticated curl at the top. For the down dos, I worked with the movement that was created from the original style.”

Prep for Mailin was much the same, with a little help from some clip-in hair extensions, as Maureen explains, “These allowed me to create a classy, low curved chignon at the nape of the neck that really suited the fabulous headpieces we had.
