Exciting things are happening at Edinburgh bridal boutique Rachel Scott Couture this autumn...

Over the last 20+ years, the Dundas Street store has established itself as the go-to wedding-dress-shopping address for those who know and love fashion, with labels such as Vivienne Westwood, Temperley London and Halfpenny London gracing its rails. And that continues to be the case as it welcomes New York designer Danielle Frankel to the fold.

Where can I shop Danielle Frankel wedding dresses in Scotland?

Rachel Scott Couture is now Scotland’s exclusive Danielle Frankel stockist, one of only two in the UK and the only place you'll find these unique and covetable wedding dresses outside of London.

Before launching her own label, Danielle Frankel Hirsch cut her teeth working with esteemed bridalwear designer Vera Wang and has since dressed a roster of celebrity clients, including Call Me Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper and Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan.

“Once coined as the designer for the ‘anti-bride’ who still wants to indulge in her fashion fantasy, Danielle Frankel puts a modern spin on the bridal aesthetic, whilst honouring traditional artisanal techniques to create forward-thinking pieces that are the epitome of 'cool girl’ aesthetic,” says boutique owner Rachel Snedden.

Self-confessed fabric geek Rachel has long admired the designer’s approach.

“The brand develops unique and unusual blends that allow them to create the most fascinating textures," she continues. "Delicately hand-crinkled silk wool, neatly pleated jerseys and much more are used to construct the sculptural, clean and yet intricate pieces they’re now known for.”

The new Danielle Frankell collection

Brides-to-be will be able to see a huge selection of the new Danielle Frankell collection, alongside past favourites, and get to admire their exquisite construction and luxurious fabrics up close.

See it all at the upcoming trunk show to celebrate the launch of the label on 27th-29th September at Rachel Scott Couture. Prices range from £4,000-£12,000. Appointments required.

Suzanne Neville designer day Edinburgh

The following month, Rachel Scott Couture will be hosting one-on-one appointments with Suzanne Neville to mark the arrival of the bridal designer’s latest collection.

On 25th-27th October, brides who’ve secured a coveted appointment will get the rare opportunity to design their own bespoke dress with Suzanne, who has earned a reputation in the industry as a master of corsetry and flattering fit.

“There’s an indescribable luxury quality in the collections she produces and the manner in which she chooses to work,” says Rachel. “She always puts the bride at the centre of everything she does and always focuses on the highest quality, individually designed, tailor made product and experience.”

Get in touch with Rachel Scott Couture to make an appointment for either event.
