Calling all 2025 brides, if you haven't got your wedding dress yet, here's what you can expect to see when you embark on the exciting wedding dress shopping experience.

There are lots of different styles to choose from, with some adding embellishments in the form of pearls, flowers and feathers for a more-is-more look. Meanwhile other dresses strip it back with exposed corsets and mini skirts.

Keep reading to be inspired and suss out your bridal style...

Basque waist

One of the most popular looks for 2025 is the basque waist, a type of drop waist, in which a form-fitting bodice hugs the contour of the hips and finishes in a distinctive V shape below the midriff, allowing the skirt to flare out either side. It's considered particularly flattering on fuller and hourglass figures.

This style of waistline can be traced back to Victorian times so has a historic 'period drama' feel, but it's been given a thoroughly fashionable, modern spin for 2025!

Dropped waist

A sister style to the basque waist, this silhouette is going to be popular in 2025 in the fashion world as well as on wedding dresses. Appearing as a corset or peplum waist, this style places the waistline of the dress below the natural waist, which elongates the upper body.

Mini wedding dresses

Short in length, but not small in impact.  The mini dress proved popular with 2024 brides, and is sticking around next year too

Made popular by celebrity brides such as Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Sophie Habboo, short and sweet styles make ideal second dresses, or even your main look if you’re opting for a chic city centre vibe.

They’re dainty, classy and timeless. Whether you choose small accents or a fully embellished gown, you’ll be right on trend.

Bows

Everything looks better with a bow, doesn’t it? Whether you go for subtle and sweet, or big and puffy, this darling detail will tie your look up nicely.

Exposed corset wedding dresses

A symbol of femininity, the corset is back with a fashion-forward feel. Usually reserved for undergarment purposes, designers are bringing the inside out with these chic, boudoir-inspired dresses.

Feathers

From low-key marabou trim, to full feathery fabulousness by way of detachable sleeves, these are looks that will tickle your fancy.

High neckline

Taking it back to the Princess Diana-inspired wedding dresses of the '80s, high-neck dresses have made a reappearance. This time however, the neckline doesn't have to be paired with puff sleeves and tulle head pieces.

Floral details

Flowers are a staple wedding dress feature, so you’ll be pleased to know they are not going anywhere. If anything, they’ve been elevated and they’re really going to be in full bloom in 3D appliqué form next year.

Art Deco bridal style

You'll see that plenty of dresses in 2025 include a nod to the 1920s. From fringing and beading to geometric prints, it's giving The Great Gatsby in the best way.

Long sleeves

Elegant and timeless, long sleeves are in for 2025, and can be styled for all seasons.
