Are you ready for it? Laura Bond Jewellery is celebrating Taylor Swift’s Edinburgh performances with a special Swiftie party
Taylor Swift is coming to Edinburgh, and it’s kind of a big deal. While some fans have been left disappointed that they didn’t get tickets, the gigs aren’t the only way to celebrate the singer this June.
To coincide with Taylor’s weekend of performances for her Eras Tour, Laura Bond Jewellery is hosting a special Swiftie event in store between 6th-9th June.
Speaking about the upcoming ‘Ear-a's themed party’, founder, creator and self-professed Swiftie, Laura Bond said: "I've been a fan of Taylor Swift since my early twenties, her albums have been the soundtrack to all the important moments in my life.
“Piercings are such a fantastic way to express your individuality, make a statement, or even mark a moment or milestone. Taylor Swift coming to Scotland should be no different.
"I want to throw the sparkliest, most empowering Taylor-style party possible. Even if you didn't get a ticket, come and party with us. Our clients’ ages range from teenagers to individuals in their sixties and seventies, meaning that all Taylor-lovers are welcome!"
What to expect at the event
So what is an ‘Ear-a's themed party' you ask? Well, it’s a celebration of all things Taylor Swift and the chance for Swifties to get jewellery inspired by the music they love.
The luxury piercing parlour's Taylor Swift-themed parties are complete with a glitter bar, luxury friendship bracelets and carefully curated jewellery collections that reflect the singer's musical Eras.
Fans are welcome to wear Eras-inspired attire, as the staff will be dressed up too! And of course, the soundtrack for the event will exclusively be a Taylor Swift playlist.
Luxury friendship bracelets
Friendship bracelets have been a big part of the fandom for the past couple of years, and are the perfect addition to your concert outfit.
Although, you might not want to trade the limited-edition luxury friendship bracelets from Laura Bond, which are made from precious crystals by local artisan jewellery brand Fika.
Taylor Swift-inspired earrings
At the event, you'll be able to create your very own ear stack with earrings inspired by Taylor's albums!
According to the event description: 'Attendees will be able to create their very own 'bejewelled' ear stacks with: snakes for ‘Reputation’; butterflies and pink opals for ‘Lover’; stars and moons for ‘Midnights’; and vine garlands for ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore’.'
How to book your place
Laura Bond suggests booking an appointment to avoid disappointment, which you can do on their website.
