A rural gem in the beautiful Strathearn Valley

The estate’s parklands and terraced garden were landscaped in the 18th century to create handsome vistas of the lake and surrounding woods, offering unrivalled views across the beautiful valley beyond. At the heart of Abercairny Estate lies the resplendent Gothic Stables, with a spectacular central courtyard and gardens. The stables are a beautiful space that have been rejuvenated with modern comforts and restored gothic features, enhanced by a fine collection of 18th Century portraits. Could you imagine a more perfect setting for your wedding day?

Abercairny believe that weddings are a wonderful and personal expression of who we are, and to reflect this, everyone is welcome on the estate - includes childrens, dogs, and even your pony!

Exclusive and flexible

Their rooms can accommodate weddings of up to 120 people using their Thistle Hall for your ceremony and dancing, and the Dining Hall for your meal. The Courtyard is ideal for outdoor receptions, and for bigger weddings Abercairny have created a marquee hard standing for up to 200 people, with incredible views across Strathearn. Intimate weddings for up to 30 guests can be held in Thistle Hall and the Dining Hall, both allowing you to gather your nearest and dearest in a truly grand setting to celebrate your special day.

When you hire Abercairny, the venue is yours from 9am the day before your wedding until 12 noon the day following your wedding. There is on-site accommodation for up to 10 people, however the venue work closely with an accommodation supplier only a 10 minute drive from the estate for your other guests.

Trustworthy local suppliers

With an extensive list of some of Scotland’s best wedding suppliers, from catering and cake to florists and décor – Abercairny have everyone and everything you need to make the wedding day of your wildest dreams. Whilst you don’t have to use their recommended suppliers, they do suggest you book with their catering and bar suppliers. Their experienced and dedicated Event Manager will also be with you every step of the way, from initial viewing, sending you down the aisle, waving goodbye at the end of the evening and helping to pack your belongings the following day – they can even help with your wedding planning if needed!
