Ballochneck as we know it today has been a long-developed dream, with its owners having seen the building’s full potential from the very beginning. With high hopes to one day open their doors as a romantic wedding venue, they spent years developing the estate to offer these services.

Discover the perfect fusion of history, luxury and versatility in one of their three outstanding event spaces. For a more intimate ceremony or drinks reception, The Drawing Room is a beautiful space that comfortably sits 16 and an additional 40 standing guests. 

With impressive views across the Campsie’s and adorned with mirror panelling, The Dining Room is an incredible space for your wedding meal, seating 20 around a traditional dining table and up to 40 in round table configurations. 

The Hall is an idyllic space near the entrance of the house and is perfect for slightly larger affairs. Incredibly spacious and welcoming, this is a homely spot to celebrate in, with the added cosiness of a large fireplace in the rooms centre. 

Both The Dining Room and The Hall’s orientation can be altered depending on your requirements. Alternatively, if the temperamental Scottish weather allows it, there is an option to marry outdoors – with ample space to set up a marquee or tent if you wish.

When it comes to food, Ballochneck are passionate about couples and their guests experiencing true culinary excellence. The venue has a collaboration with award-winning local chef, Lucy Pattinson, who specialises in open-fire and game cooking under the brand The Fodderation. Using only the best Scottish produce, Lucy is a strong advocate for local food and sustainability – pairing perfectly with Ballochneck’s ethos. Whether it be a simple lunch or a high-end tasting menu – and everything in between – anything is possible with their incredible local ingredients.
