With a vision for fairytale romance, Social Brides Club content creator Lauren Prichard created a styled wedding shoot at Chatelherault complete with a showcase of incredible flower arrangements, delicate details and intimate vibes
Romantic wedding flowers
Content creator Lauren Prichard of Social Brides Club brought together an all-female team to work on this pastel peach, lilac and purple styled photoshoot at Chatelherault that’s as pretty as a flower-filled impressionist painting.
“Every detail radiated sophistication and grace. The florals by Wildflower and Willow were a highlight, with breathtaking arrangements adorning every corner of the South Lanarkshire heritage venue,” muses Lauren.
“The stunning cake display was a particular standout, with whimsical wild florals cascading from the drawers of a vintage dresser."
“The wedding gowns from Edinburgh bridal boutique Lorelle Atara continued the floral theme with exquisite attention to detail and featured intricate appliqué and rich textures.”
Incorporating Scottish traditions
Real-life couple Kel and Ula brought genuine romance to the set-up, even marrying in a faux ceremony officiated by celebrant Niki Smith.
“The ‘ceremony’ incorporated Scottish traditions such as a handfasting and the loving cup (aka the quaich). It was a genuine celebration of love and beauty,” adds Lauren.
